What is Lionox?
Lionox is a Christian news blog that focuses on disclosing and discussing the signs of the times as revealed by the prophets of old. The stories that we feature include news, video, audio, images, and profiles of individuals and groups; and in our dialogue we strive to shine the light of God’s truth on the information that is presented in order to inform and prepare one another for the Revelation of God, and to bring honor and glory to Him in His son, Christ Jesus.
What does Lionox mean?
The Lionox name is a combination of two words: Lion and Ox.
The Lion is the animal representation of the Christian evangelist Mark [1,2], author of the Gospel of Mark (the second book of the Bible’s New Testament) and companion of Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ. The Lion represents Bravery, Strength, Ferocity, and Dauntless Courage.
The Ox is the animal representation of the Christian evangelist Luke [1,2], author of the Gospel of Luke (the third book of the Bible’s New Testament) as well as Acts of the Apostles (the fifth book of the Bible’s New Testament). The Ox represents Valour and Generosity.
Together the two exemplify the proclamation of the good news (gospel) of Jesus Christ to the lost. By taking upon ourselves the name of these two symbols we also take on their meaning, and their mission, as we do our Lord’s bidding to bring forth his truth and weed out the lies by whatever means we are able.
